NuHussel Orchestra

Founded in 2015 by Wanja C. Hasselmann (drums/composing), the NuHussel Orchestra skillfully navigates the full spectrum of modern jazz, drawing influence from funk, hip hop, classical, rock, and electro. This gives life to the new city sound of a cosmopolitan generation: Urban Score. On its two albums released to date, “First Things First” and “Forest,” as well as several EPs, the collective has already collaborated with rap acts such as Nico Suave, Afrob, and many more; toured as the opening act for Jan Delay & Disko No 1; and even made a appearance at ELBJAZZ—we say: Welcome back!
