With his band Close To Home, pianist and composer Moritz Schöwing blends modern jazz, 1980s fusion, and fresh influences from pop and folk music into a versatile sound reminiscent of great masters such as Pat Metheny, Lyle Mays, and Ben Wendel. Atmospheric soundscapes with surprising twists that leave plenty of room for improvisation. The whole performance is delivered with high energy and a great deal of joy!
