Where is the ELBJAZZ festival site located?
The festival site is located on the Blohm+Voss Shipyard at Hermann-Blohm-Straße 3. The “Elbphilharmonie Specials” take place in the Grand Hall of the Elbphilharmonie.
What’s the best way to get to the festival site?
The Old Elbtunnel and the regular lifts are open at all times. The best way to get to the festival site is on foot or by bike through the Old Elbtunnel, entrance at the St. Pauli Landungsbrücken. There are bike racks in front of the festival site at the Blohm+Voss Shipyard where you can park your bikes.
The freight lift in the Old Elbtunnel will remain in operation until 1:00 am on Friday and Saturday.
You can take public transport to U S Landungsbrücken and then walk through the Old Elbtunnel.
Alternatively, travel to U S Elbbrücken, where shuttle buses are available to take you to the festival site. The shuttles run between 2 pm and 12:45 am on both festival days directly to the festival site every 10 minutes without any stops.
Alternatively, a ferry runs between the Sandtorhöft pier and the Steinwerder pier:

From Steinwerder pier (directly in front of the B+V Shipyard)

Please note:
– These times are approximate. There may be slight variations, particularly with the ferrys.
– Due to road closures caused by the Hamburg Triathlon on Saturday, 11 July, there may be traffic restrictions. Please check in advance regarding your journey and the triathlon route.
What happens in the event of program changes or cancellations at ELBJAZZ?
We will provide immediate updates on any programme changes, cancellations or rescheduling of individual events within the ELBJAZZ 26 programme via our website, our app and on social media on Instagram and Facebook. No claims may be made against ELBJAZZ provided the overall character of the festival is maintained.
In the event of danger to life or health – for example due to extreme weather conditions – individual ELBJAZZ events may be cancelled at any time. The same applies in cases of force majeure, official orders or court rulings. In such cases, there is no entitlement to a refund or compensation.
Is travel to and from the venue with HVV included in the festival ticket?
ELBJAZZ Festival tickets are valid on the day of the event for travel to and from the venue via the HVV.
Tickets for the “Elbphilharmonie Specials” also include travel to and from the venue on the respective concert day via the HVV.
Where can I see which artists are playing on which day of the festival?
Information about the performance days of the confirmed artists at ELBJAZZ are available on the individual artist pages. The exact performance times (the timetable) can be found here.
Where can I park my car?
ELBJAZZ 26 does not have its own car park. We recommend using public transport.

Tickets for individual concerts taking place on the ELBJAZZ festival site are not available. To attend these, an ELBJAZZ festival ticket must be purchased.
Where can I buy tickets for ELBJAZZ 2026?
Tickets for ELBJAZZ are available through our official ELBJAZZ ticket shop via CTS Eventim, and at the entrance to the festival site on the weekend of the event (subject to availability). Please note that tickets purchased via unauthorised platforms or secondary markets may be invalid and may not grant entry.
I already have a ticket for the ‘old’ ELBJAZZ dates on 5 & 6 June 2026. What options do I have?
As already communicated by email to all ticket holders for the ‘old’ ELBJAZZ dates, the June tickets had to be cancelled. You have received a refund.
Are there discounted tickets for ELBJAZZ 2026?
There are no concessions available for the ELBJAZZ Festival 26. Holders of a severely disabled person’s pass marked ‘B’ and wheelchair users are entitled to bring one accompanying person to ELBJAZZ 26 free of charge. For capacity reasons, this applies only to festival tickets without a seat reservation. Please book via our ticket service at tickets@elbjazz.de only.
Where can I see which artists are playing on which day of the festival?
Information on the performance dates of confirmed artists at ELBJAZZ can be found on the respective artist pages. The exact performance times can be viewed on the official timetable here.
Can I attend all the concerts at ELBJAZZ?
As some concerts take place at the same time, it is not possible to attend all concerts. For safety reasons, admission to the Schiffbauhalle is also limited. We therefore recommend selecting your preferred concerts in advance on the ELBJAZZ website or in the ELBJAZZ app and arriving at the venue in good time. If a venue is full, there is no guarantee of admission. Admission will only be granted again once guests have left the venue and space has become available.
Please note: To attend a concert at the Elbphilharmonie, you must have purchased a ticket in advance.
How does access to the gallery Grandstand work?
At the entrance to the Grandstand, your seat ticket will be checked. Upon first entry, you will be given a wristband, which allows you to leave and re-enter the Grandstand without any problems. Holders of combined tickets must please show their ticket once on each of the two days.

Are tickets available for individual events at ELBJAZZ 2026?
Tickets for the “Elbphilharmonie Specials” with Joss Stone (Friday, July 10) and Chilly Gonzales (Saturday, July 11) are only available as separate bookings and independently of the festival ticket.
Tickets for individual concerts taking place on the ELBJAZZ festival grounds are not available. An ELBJAZZ festival ticket must be purchased to attend these concerts.
What ticket do I need to attend a concert at the Elbphilharmonie?
The “Elbphilharmonie Specials” (July 10: Joss Stone, July 11: Chilly Gonzales) can only be attended by purchasing a separate individual ticket, independently of the ELBJAZZ festival ticket. The ELBJAZZ festival ticket is not valid for these concerts.
What is the first step on the festival site after buying a ticket?
Tickets purchased in advance must be exchanged in person at the Ticket Desk for a festival wristband. This can be done at any time during the Ticket Desk’s opening hours. Festival wristbands will be fitted directly by our staff on site and will not be given to other people. At certain times, the Ticket Desk is likely to be busy, so please allow plenty of time.

Who should I contact if I have any questions during the festival?

Will there be bag checks?
There will be bag checks. Confiscated items may be collected when leaving the festival.
What am I allowed to bring with me?
The following are permitted on the festival site:
– one 0.5l PET bottle of drink per person
– small snacks
– ear protectors for children
– Jute bags / bags and rucksacks up to A4 size
– Mobile phone cameras, compact cameras
The following are not permitted on the festival site:
– Glass bottles & aluminium bottles
– Professional camera equipment
– Megaphones
– Camping stools/folding chairs or seating of any kind
– Umbrellas of any kind
Drones and other remote-controlled aircraft
The operation of unmanned aerial vehicles is strictly prohibited throughout the festival site. An exception to this ban is only possible for the security authorities themselves and for the organiser in consultation with the relevant authorities.
Can I pay cashless on the festival site?
Most of our food and drink stalls offer cashless payment options. However, we cannot guarantee this for all vendors on site, so we recommend bringing cash with you. There is no cash machine on the festival site at Blohm+Voss.
What catering options are available on site?
There will be a wide variety of stalls offering food and drink on the festival site. We cannot guarantee that our food and drink offerings will cater for all food intolerances and allergies. Allergens are labelled at the food and drink stalls. If you have allergies, you are permitted to bring small amounts of food onto the festival site.
Are minors allowed to attend ELBJAZZ 26?
Children aged 6 and over who have their own ticket may enter the festival when accompanied by their parents or a legal guardian. Further FAQs on the protection of minors can be found here.

Is cannabis use permitted on the festival site?
The consumption of cannabis is not permitted on the festival site. We kindly ask you to respect this.
ACCESSIBILITY
Do visitors with disabilities and/or accompanying persons get free entry?
Guests with a ‘B’ mark on their severe disability card and wheelchair users may bring a companion to ELBJAZZ free of charge. Upon presentation of this card and the ticket at the Ticket Desk, the companion will also receive a festival wristband.

Will there be seating at ELBJAZZ 26?
In response to popular demand, ELBJAZZ 26 will, for the first time, offer a limited number of grandstand seats near the main stage, which can be booked as a ‘Grandstand Combo Ticket’ at or purchased as an upgrade. You can find more detailed information under ‘Ticket Categories’.
Is ELBJAZZ accessible?
The following ELBJAZZ venues are accessible:
- The festival site at Blohm+Voss, including the Main Stage, Helgen Stage, Schiffbauhalle and the Hamburg Stage.
- HafenCity with the Elbphilharmonie.
Wheelchair spaces will be provided at the Main Stage and the Helgen Stage.
We are doing our best to make the site as accessible and comfortable as possible. Please note, however, that this is a shipyard site and the ground may be uneven in places. We therefore recommend taking this into account when travelling to the event and making your plans.
Are there accessible toilets available
Yes, accessible toilets (wheelchair-accessible toilets) are available on the festival site.

Who can attend a concert in the Grand Hall of the Elbphilharmonie?
For concerts at the Elbphilharmonie, it was possible to purchase tickets separately, subject to availability. Keep an eye on the festival app, the website and Social Media for any remaining tickets
What ticket do I need to attend a concert at the Elbphilharmonie?
The “Elbphilharmonie Specials” (10 July: Joss Stone & Special Guest Don West, 11 July: Chilly Gonzales & Support Fergus McCreadie ) can only be attended via a separate individual booking, independent of the ELBJAZZ festival ticket. The ELBJAZZ festival ticket is not valid for these concerts.

How are seats allocated for the concerts in the Grand Hall of the Elbphilharmonie?
When you purchased a ticket for one of the concerts at the Elbphilharmonie, you were sent a ticket showing your seat.
