Stephanie Lottermoser

The singer, saxophonist, composer and, most recently, record label owner has established herself in recent years as one of the most distinctive voices in German jazz. Her music captivates with melodic clarity and depth, reaching an audience far beyond the boundaries of jazz. Through her highly personal approach, which combines composition, saxophone playing as well as vocals, she has forged a distinctive artistic identity, which she showcases to perfection with her congenial ensemble, comprising pianist Maik Schott, bassist Robert Schulenburg and drummer Felix Lehrmann, both on her acclaimed albums “Hamburg” and “In-Dependence” and on stage. On her latest release, “Live at the Bauer Studios”, she brings both worlds together and captures her band’s live energy on record. We are delighted to welcome her as a performer on the ELBJAZZ stage this year.
