We also have a promising wave of bands for you with MEUTE and other strong artists*.

This Hamburg "Techno Marching Band" brings more than a touch of techno to our festival. Handmade beats from brass instruments and drums, detached from the turntables of classic DJs - no one will be able to stand still when MEUTE plays.  

As soon as the name Michael Wollny is mentioned, superlatives start pouring in. The London Times called the band of the likeable Leipzig native "the most exciting piano trio in Europe" and the FAZ wrote: "if there were a world ranking of jazz pianists, Wollny would be among the top three." All the more exciting to welcome him to ELBJAZZ.  

The British musician Cherise caused a sensation in the R&B community with her sensual, flattering NuSoul single "Remedy" in 2021 - which may be due above all to her sometimes tender, sometimes emphatic, but always highly emotional vocals, which we look forward to hearing at ELBJAZZ.
