NEW ACTS, ACCOMPANYING PROGRAMME AND FESTIVAL SCHEDULE
Get ready – ELBJAZZ 2022 is setting course for the Port of Hamburg! We’re very excited to be completing our amazing line-up of 44 acts with great new artists and revealing more secrets. The festival schedule and an exciting accompanying programme are now complete and we’re all good to go.
With her compelling soul power, British singer Judi Jackson will be getting the water of the Elbe swashing over the quay wall. And hip jazz newcomers meet Hanseatic big-band power and international legends.
Donny McCaslin will be raising the water level a good few meters with his rocky band sound, while the Nils Landgren Funk Unit gets the port basin bubbling.
The NDR Bigband will be spurred on this year by the drummer and Hamburg Jazz Prize winner Silvan Strauss.
The jazz stars of tomorrow present their exciting projects on the forecourt of the Elbphilharmonie. And an exciting accompanying programme, including DJ workshops and an after-show party at the Mojo, awaits you too.
