We are on course for ELBJAZZ 2023, we have been tinkering and working and are pleased to reveal the first acts for the next festival edition on 9 + 10 June.

For those of you who like to plan in advance, we recommend the Early Bird ticket, which you can get at a reduced price in our ticketshop until 15 November 2022!

They belong to the Hanseatic city like Udo and Astra and are considered one of Hamburg's most successful bands: The Tingvall Trio honours us with their stirring sound of jazz, pop, and film music.

Cécile McLorin Salvant sings a capella and with church organ on her new album, which covers Kurt Weill and Kate Bush. BR promptly made "Ghost Song" its album of the month and spoke of a "masterpiece". So it's all the more gratifying that we can welcome her to ELBJAZZ 2023.

Derya Yıldırım & Group Şimşek stand for Anatolian folk, psychedelic jazz-funk, and an unparalleled 70s sound. Together with author and presenter Duygu Ağal, they go in search of the roots of Turkish poetry.

The young saxophonist Jakob Manz is currently turning the German jazz scene upside down. And with Salomea, we welcome one of the strongest voices and band sounds of the young German scene.

In addition, this year we are happy to welcome Wendy McNeill, who will soon release her new album "First There Where Feathers", about the feathered forest dwellers.

We look forward to seeing you!
