Swedish singer/songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and producer Daniel Kadawatha presents himself as a fresh nostalgic with his Arc De Soleil project. Here he fulfills his long-held preference for retro guitars à la The Shadows, which he combines with contemporary grooves and an Indian touch. Guitar and sitar alternate on an equal footing in his melodic compositions, while the sometimes dreamy, sometimes gently sizzling beats could have been inspired by the psychedelic funk dubbers of Khruangbin.
